My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lassie!
Little Lassie recently arrived to our facility and has been settling in with our older kittens and cats in our free roaming cat room. While she can be a little timid at first, as soon as she sees the other kittens up to something, she's quick to come out and join in the fun! One of her favorite things she's learned to do since arriving is the best pounce! She makes herself even smaller somehow and will leap out to catch a toy or a wiggling ribbon. She's very playful! Lassie also seems to love her cat naps - I mean who doesn't - and when she's had her fun, she's happy to settle into one of the little nooks and dream all about her furever home. So what do you say - could she be dreaming of you?! Come meet sweet Lassie today!

Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
