Diamond is an irresistibly adorable dwarf bunny with a spunky personality and a heart full of courage. She came to OHRR through a veterinary referral after sustaining a leg injury when she was accidentally dropped by a child walking down stairs while carrying her. Her injury required medical care beyond what her previous owner could provide, and Diamond has shown incredible resilience throughout her recovery.
During her time in medical foster care, Diamond received regular laser therapy, pain medication, and plenty of rest. Remarkably, her leg healed on its own, albeit with a slight deformity in the bone. While she’s doing well now, her last x-rays revealed that the bone is quite close to the surface, and there’s a chance that the leg may need to be amputated in the future if complications arise. Despite these challenges, Diamond has proven herself to be a tough little bunny with an incredible zest for life.
Diamond is a spirited girl who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to show it. While she can be sensitive to changes or things that aren’t her favorite, she’s also wonderfully endearing and full of personality. She’s looking for a patient and loving home that will appreciate her quirks and be attentive to her medical needs.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this brave little bunny, Diamond could be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if she’s the sparkling gem you’ve been waiting for!
