His story began when a concerned neighbor spotted him running around the neighborhood but couldn’t get close enough to catch him. Thankfully, volunteers stepped in, and Gerard was safely rescued from his outdoor adventure.

Now settled at the Center, Gerard is showing his sweet and gentle nature to everyone he meets. With his handsome face and charming demeanor, it’s hard not to fall in love with him. Gerard would make a wonderful addition to any loving home, and he’s ready to start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We adopt spayed/neutered house rabbits to homes where they will live indoors and be an integral part of the family. All our rabbits are socialized, litter trained, and in good health, unless stated otherwise. We screen all potential adopters. We charge a $40 non refundable adoption fee when the adoption is finalized, and an adoption contract must be signed.

Ohio House Rabbit Rescue (OHRR) is an organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of house rabbits and to the education of current and potential pet parents and the general public. OHRR is incorporated in Ohio and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. OHRR's major goal is to build and maintain a facility to house and serve as an adoption center for rescued rabbits. Educational programs and services for rabbits will also be available at the Center
