My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgie is a playful cat who loves his toys. Batting his spinning ball toy is one of his favorites.

He will run to you for attention whenever you enter the room. It’s not easy to walk away from this lover as he will twist around your ankles and grab your hand with his paws when you stop
petting him. He’s so hungry for love he just can’t get enough. George is still learning how to settle down and cuddle in your lap for a nap. Now that he is no longer lost outside on his own, there is so much love to give and cuddles to get.

Being just around 3 years old he still has plenty of energy and will need a kitty friend in his new home to play chase and romp around with. He does good with dogs if they leave him alone and let him do his own thing.

Georgie absolutely adores kids! He loves them! He will even drape himself across their little legs when reading and having quiet time. George will need a safe fun yard to hang out with his family during the summer. And in his tabby and white coat he will look quite flashy amongst the green grass as he hunts for those pesky bugs and mice.

He is in Wasilla. Please call 907-350-8089. Thanks!

3.

Home Check

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once you meet the kitty, if you and the kitty are a good fit for each other, then you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee.

5.

Pay Fee

6.

Take the Pet Home

You will need a carrier when you are meeting your potential kitty, because you will need something to take it home in. :)

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Due to the pandemic, most of our adoptions are done virtually. Some of our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2017, we rescued and rehomed approximately 500 cats.
