My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She's ready for toys! And snacks. She raised her litter of kittens and before she was done, yet more kittens were given to her. She was such a good mom, took them all under her wing and gave them a great kittenhood. But now she has done her mom thing and is ready for a free, loving, and fun-loving life with a great family.

Mariah is a small girl. Petite and pretty in her black and white tuxie suit. She may look a little formal but her personality is all about being easy with her loved one. She likes people who are kind and is happy to be picked up, carried around, given cuddles and kisses. And toys for playtime. She loves to play!

She loves sleeping on a heated blanket right next to her special person. She gets along fine with other cats and nice doggos. She is a darling and almost the perfect cat.

She would love a cat friend in her new home as well as a yard where she and her friend can go out and breathe in the joy and freedom of fresh air and the natural world. She's a couple years old. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
