My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the many-toed brothers Dipper and Gideon! They are both polydactyl and about one year old.

Both kitties love to play, especially with toys on a wand or string. They love the cat tunnel as well. Gideon is the curious leader and Dipper, not as curious, will follow Gideon’s lead to discover new areas. They were raised with a dog but are not a fan of their current foster’s large dog who wants to know them more than they want to know her! They will do well with a cat tolerant dog. They also did well around small children from their previous home.

Gideon will shelter in a cubby his first night but then becomes the first to do everything. He loves to discover the highest places he can reach and will curiously explore everything. He has short hair length fur and is quick to purr when petted. Gideon does give little love nips when held in your lap. Dipper is a mellow kitty with a 1 year old instinct to play a lot. He adjusted quickly to his new foster home but didn’t want to explore unless his brother, Gideon, did it first. He has medium hair length fur and is also quick to purr when petted. Dipper would rather be playing than held and he will give you scratchy cat toy he kisses to show his affection.

These gray and white sweet boy are ready for a family where they can be adopted together, and can give all their love to their new humans. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
