Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking to truly change the life of a homeless animal? The cats from this home have had a rough start and need a patient, loving family looking to meet them where they are and give them a new lease on life. With time and patience, it’s possible these cats will build up the confidence they need to become a loving member of the family.
If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways:
Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.
**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
All cat adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccine
-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV/FIV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
