Joey is a gorgeous three year old red Doberman that is docked with a great wiggle tail and butt and soft natural ears. He is an owner surrender and lived with another large dog and cat. He is acclimating to life at his foster and finding his own way. He is vetted and ready for his forever home.
Joey is very sweet and relatively low energy and quite sensitive to new things and will do best in a home that is fairly quiet. In short, he will shut down if corrected harshly (e.g. yelling) and will take some time to trust and build consistent recall (walk away and he follows) but it will be worth it as he is a great dog.
He loves cuddling. He enjoys running in the yard, eating, playing with toys and female Doberman at his foster and chewing on bones. He loves going on walks and has good leash skills. He was happy to meet friends when they visited the house. He is a watchdog and will bark to let you know if there is anything new or out of place.
He is 100% housebroke and can be crated (not required). Joey will need a physically fenced yard.
