Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dancer is a 4-month-old, loving and playful kitten looking for her forever home!
She is a sweet and affectionate girl with just enough playful kitten energy. This beautiful gal is quiet and a bit reserved; if there is too much commotion around her, she will seek out a safe and quiet place until everything is calm again. She can always be found with another kitten either snoozing away or playing.
She also likes to climb into her human's lap and roll over so that her human can rub her belly easier. An affectionate girl, Dancer loves getting her head and neck scratched and will let you know how much she enjoys it with her loud purr. She prefers to relax in tall cat trees where she can see everything happening below. When she isn't playing or napping, she really enjoys getting lots of love, pets, and attention from her humans.
This little lady’s energy level is moderate and normal for a kitten her age. She likes to follow her littermates and be part of the group exploring and playing; however, when it’s time to rest, she is equally happy napping for hours on end in a warm, sunny spot or cat tree.
Dancer currently lives in a foster home with her mama cat and littermates, the resident adult cats and dogs, two adults, and three older children. She is used to being around dogs but tends to not interact with them and avoids them if they are overly energetic. She’s fine with cats and with older kids.
This beautiful girl’s ideal home is one that is quiet or moderately busy. She will need to go home with one of her littermates (whom she loves, so that would be a great choice!) or to a home with another active, playful young resident cat to show her the ropes.
She will thrive with calm, patient humans who work from home or are around a lot, to shower her with lots of love and affection. If you’re ready for the perfect, gentle addition to your family this winter, please consider adding Dancer and one of her equally cute siblings to your family!
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal’s history is unknown. and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt.
All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
