My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Domino! I am a spunky and adorable 2 ½-year-old, 72-pound American bulldog mix who LOVES snuggles in bed watching movies or just sitting with people. I melt my head into the hands of anyone who is willing to give ear scratches and nose kisses! I am quick to love and trust. I love playing in the yard and get along great with both dogs and cats! Although sometimes I forget how big I am I am the biggest wannabe lapdog! I am house and crate trained!

I am vaccinated, neutered and heartworm free. I am being fostered in Maryville, TN but can be transported to other states. If you are looking for an affectionate boy to join your family, fill out an application and my rescue will be in touch!

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable dogs are all in various foster homes and can be met by contacting rescue. Rescue will then provide foster home's contact information. Meet and greets will be arranged between foster and potential adopters. We also have adoption events at Petsmart on various dates which can be checked on our Facebook page, Operation Save a Shelter Dog.

More about this rescue

Our Mission

Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
