This helps Hart County Humane Society, Inc. with pet care costs.
HAPPY is less than a year old and seems to still have a lot of growing to do! He spent 2 months waiting for rescue from Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, because of this Happy missed out on learning how much fun having a human can be. He is a shy guy, buy has made significant progress in loving and trusting strangers since rescue.
HAPPY is a mixed breed (we suspect he has a little lab or golden retriever in him) and he is most comfortable when other dogs are around. He loves playing with other dogs, is gentle with cats, and is learning children aren't so scary.
HAPPY is crate trained, walks well on leash, is easily redirected from puppy curiosity. He needs an adopter who will continue building his confidence and one who understands it takes time for a loving bond to develop!
Dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites.
Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org.
If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, donations can be mailed to Hart County Humane Society P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643 or online at harthumane.org.
The Hart County Humane Society is an all-volunteer rescue, we receive no government funding and rely on donations to fund our lifesaving programs
