Crate trained: Yes. She actually likes being in her crate. It is her safe space.

Good in the car: Yes

Good on a leash: nope. Rusti doesn't like being on a leash. She would rather be running in a fenced yard where she can do things on her own terms.

Energy level: Medium

Need a fenced in yard: would be helpful but jot necessary. She would need time to get used to walks.

Dog Friendly: Yes! Rusti lives my goldens!

If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? No, she would be perfectly happy as an only dog.

Cat Friendly? Unsure. Not tested

Kid Friendly: yes with older kids. Rusti has zero aggression but has anxiety. Young children would not be a good fit for her.

If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Older children due to her anxiety.

What to say about Rusti? She is such a sweet girl once she let's you in. She will run and hide from people at first. She needs time to trust her people. She will likely pick one person to be hers and will tolerate the rest. Rusti is my shadow, she tolerates my husband and son. Lol

Rusti is a Hella herder. Once she trusts you, she will run free in the yard, she will herd you like cattle. Given her small size her playing is quite entertaining.

She is an expert snuggler and kisser but only with her person. Rustis perfect home would be one where she would be the center of your world and because she is a mini, she would be a perfect retirement dog.
