My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jellybean and Charlie are super cute and sweet playful brothers. Born at a landscape company in Alamance County, the owners handled them regularly to help socialize them. When they were old enough they were neutered through the shelter and we took them and their sisters Gracie and Stella in thanks to two fosters applying to help us out when all other fosters were full.

We prefer kittens be adopted to a home that has a cat already and that will accept them, or they be adopted with a sibling or buddy from our rescue. Kittens do better having a feline friend.

Adoption is a lifetime commitment and animals need vet care throughout their life. They aren’t gifts or toys.

1.
Submit Application

submit an online application at www.sparklecatrescue.org we do not do same day adoptions.

2.
Interview

once your application has been reviewed and approved, our adoption coordinator may contact you.

3.
Meet the Pet

A meet n greet will be set up at a foster home (OR virtually) after adoption application is approved.

Additional adoption info

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as part of the adoption fee.

If you see a cat you would like to adopt, please complete an adoption application interest form and we will set up a meet 'n' greet.

Our application requires 2 non-related references, vet references (we do check), current and past pets you have owned.

We do not do same-day adoptions. All applicants are fully screened (vet references, etc.) to ensure our fur babies go to awesome forever homes!

Sparkle Cat Rescue is incorporated in the State of North Carolina as a nonprofit, with our 501c3 in process. All Sparkle kitties receive lots of TLC and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes! We are 100% volunteer, experienced volunteers/fosters who provide loving homes and lots of socialization for our rescued kitties.

Each SCR kitty is combo tested immediately when they arrive in our program and vaccinated (rabies and FVRCP) if age appropriate.
