Meet River! He's a puppy, maybe 4 months old, picked up stray with his buddy, Jethro (also available for adoption). River appears to be maybe a shepherd/heeler kind of guy, with stunning eyes! He currently weighs about 30 lbs., and we suspect he will get quite a bit bigger. River is currently learning the ropes in a foster home, with several other dogs and young children.
This is what his foster momma had to say about him…”Perfect gentleman with all the dogs, big and small, boys and girls. Angel with my boys… he takes correction super well. Settles down so quickly in his crate and has been quietly sleeping in there. He’s such a polite little begger. I don’t say this lightly, but this is a really good puppy.” They have been working on basic commands, and potty training is going well.
