Dakota

This beautiful girl is Dakota! She is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois, She is vaccinated , spayed and going through slow kill hw treatment

Dakota is new to the rescue but this lovely girl is sweeter than candy She loves people, dogs and even cats. Dakota has a fantastic personality, loves to watch the show COPS, has great recall and knows "sit". This lovely lady wants to bond with someone and will need an experienced adopter to set expectations and boundaries She loves to be with her person, loves being outside, is confident about things she knows but skiddish with things she hasn’t seen (mop, vacuum, printer).

Dakota rides well in the car, has a great appetite and likes to sleep in bed with her people. She has a busy personality but can also easily entertain herself. She is not housebroken yet, but is super smart and wants to learn.

If you are looking for an easy dog to adopt or foster, Dakota is the one !

We require an application. References are checked and a home visit is performed. Placement Director contacts the applicant and discusses the dogs in our program. There will be two meetings between the potential adoptive family and the dog before final transfer. We require a $400.00 adoption fee for Adult Dogs and a $450.00 adoption fee for puppies. This fee covers vaccines, labwork, microchip, and spay/neuter.

Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)3 organization based in Texas. At this time we service Texas and Louisiana. Our passion and our mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt. These dogs come from stressful circumstances and are give a few weeks to de-compress before being offered for adoption.
