Thorne is a sweet little pup from a litter of 10! His mama Ama came from Cherokee and birthed her pups just a couple weeks after the hurricane. Ama is about 32 pounds. We are not sure who the dad was, but these pups will likely be medium to large when fully grown. Thorne will be neutered on Monday 12/23 and will be ready for adoption on 12/24! Christmas puppies!
Thorne will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and started on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $350 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
