My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harlow is a sweet and gentle companion. She is good natured and friendly with cats and dogs. Harlow is a survivor of neurological FIP as a kitten. She made a full recovery, however this illness left some mild damage that leads to occasional fecal incontinence. She usually makes it to the litterbox but occasionally will have an involuntary (formed) stool. She does best on a raw diet and when on this diet her occasional accident is super easy to pick up. Harlow is spayed, tested Felv/FIV negative, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

She is an FIP survivor. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
