My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Wolfie was brought in by their previous owner on December 19, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Wolfie, a sweet and energetic girl who's ready to find her new home! Wolfie has a tail that just doesn't quit, wagging with excitement every time she gets attention. She's a big fan of treats and will do just about anything for a tasty snack. Though she can be a bit shy at first, once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature shines through-especially when it comes to pets and cuddles. Wolfie is full of life and loves to keep busy, so she'll need an active family that can match her energy. Having spent some time as an outdoor dog, she may need a little help learning indoor manners. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion, Wolfie is the perfect fit!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
