Turtledove is an 11-month-old Shepherd mix who is a bit shy and overwhelmed by the busy shelter environment. The loud barking of other dogs really frightens him, so he's hoping to find a quiet, low-traffic home with a patient family who will help him build his confidence. Despite his timidness, Turtledove has a heart of gold and takes treats very gently. He would thrive in a calm and loving environment where he can blossom at his own pace. A predictable routine and positive reinforcement will help him come out of his shell and learn to trust. If you can offer Turtledove a peaceful haven and the time and understanding he needs to flourish, please come meet him today to see if he would be a good match for you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 66 Age: 0yrs 11mths 1wks
