Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Coco is a 6 year old dachshund mix, who we rescued in May 2021. Coco is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and has no known medical conditions.
Coco is a very kind and gentle dog, who loves cuddling and spending time outside. Coco is house and crate trained and does well in cars. She enjoys fetch with her toys and being around us and would be a great companion in the perfect home.
Coco gets anxious around other dogs, and has shown signs of aggression towards dogs that are her size or smaller, but has been OK with larger adult dogs. She will bark and pull on walks when she sees other dogs, so a fenced in yard is a plus.
Coco does not do well with young children, which is why we are rehoming her. We have a 2 year old child, and Coco became very anxious and uncomfortable when she began to walk. We had an incident where Coco knocked our daughter down unprovoked, resulting in her being hurt. Coco has been OK with older kids but needs a home with no young children or small dogs
