Chunky was brought in by her previous owner on December 18, 2024.

Meet Chunky, a young red eared slider who's here to steal the show! As an invasive species in California, Chunky needs a secure, loving home where she can relax without the risk of wandering into the wild. Her ideal home? A spacious outdoor pond where she can swim, bask and soak up the sun like a true diva. If that's not possible, a roomy indoor tank (100+ gallons) will do, as long as it's equipped with a bioactive system or a reliable filter to keep her waters sparkling clean. Chunky is a long-term commitment (red eared sliders can live 20+ years!) so she's looking for a dedicated family who'll provide her with a proper omnivorous diet to keep her healthy and happy.
