Dory wishes to be home for the holidays, a forever home or foster home, a place she can feel safe, warm, and loved! Can you help us make that happen for her? Dory is approx. 2 yrs, shy, super sweet and the cutest lowrider, weighing approx 59 lbs, sporting a beautiful brindle coat with white accent markings! She was found abandoned and brought to a nearby CT shelter where she quickly become a super star⭐ among staff and volunteers alike! She's so well behaved with other dogs that she's quickly become the behavior team's favorite helper dog, must see videos below. Sadly dark dogs are often the last to be noticed and adopted no matter how amazing their temperament, they are often passed by. Please don't pass Dory by, please send an inquiry today to learn about Dory and how to adopt or foster.
A Volunteer Writes:
"I imagine what's going through Dory's head all day is the "hi i'm Dory" audio clip from the Finding Nemo movies. She will introduce herself to everyone and anyone she sees. Dory and her brother Marlin were found in a hallway abandoned alone. Dory is as cute and innocent as her namesake from Finding Nemo. And just like her journey in that movie, she is looking for someone, but this time it’s for her family! Dory is a low rider with a big head, floppy ears, and a soft brindle coat. She nudges into us. leaning her little body in for cuddles. Dory has met two male dogs at the shelter, and she had greeted both with a soft wiggly frame. Dory can be timid and she was definitely a mama at some point, so we hope she finds a home where she can leave her breeding days behind her and just live life to the fullest. Dory is 2 years old and is at #208073."
