My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Helen is a beautiful girl who is looking for a home! Helen is now in a NJ foster home.

Helen was rescued by our partner rescue from a dead end shelter in rural Louisiana. Without rescue partners, these dogs in these shelters would just get sick and die as there is no program or budget for basic vaccines or care. Helen is now in a foster home in Louisiana and she is thriving! She is happy, energetic and playful. She loves other dogs and kids too! Helen needs some work on her leash skills - right now she wants to GOGOGO! She would do well with an active person or family who likes to run or hike and perhaps a big yard so she can run out her energy. Helen is very sweet! She loves meeting new friends of the human and canine variety but she can be a little too excited for some dogs.

Helen is fixed,   microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
