Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Banjo is a very fluffy 38lb shepherd mix who is estimated to be six years old. He’s sweet, cuddly, and affectionate. He loves to lay around the house on his favorite chair though appreciates regular walks as well. He loves to be pet and brushed and will burrow his head into you for affection if you sit on the floor. He can be a little excitable, but is incredibly food motivated and with repetition is a good learner. He’s happy to just be nearby wherever people are. Banjo is a goofball who brings joy to those who know him. We adopted him four years ago from Wags and Whiskers.
Banjo is looking for a new home due to ongoing resource guarding behaviors. We’ve been working on resource guarding with him since we got him and he’s made significant improvement. However, these behaviors are not compatible with living in a home with small children. We think a home without children or with older children (10+) would be suitable for him. We’d recommend he be the only pet.
