I rescued her and a chihuahua seven years ago. The chihuahua found a home, but Ruby did not. She is a great security dog, sounds the alarm as soon as anyone approaches the home. She enjoys looking outside the window and guarding the home. She loves toys and getting a sweater on when the weather is cold. She prefers to stay home and hang out with her caregivers than to be walked. She is terrified of the streets. Will warm up to house visitors once she knows they are good. Our German Shepherds had puppies and she and the mom do not get along now. I'm a divorced widow with twins in college. I got laid off a few months ago and find it hard to continue taking care of her. She may be best in a home with no dogs, or perhaps a mature male dog, with proper introduction and training. Her worst nightmare is to be left in the streets, as was the case when she was a puppy. If anyone is interested in her, please take her. We will give her away with some of her sweaters and toys. Thank you
