Felix came into our care after his owner died suddenly, leaving five Beagles needing homes. He was used as a hunting Beagle, but we think he would love to be a family pet. He had a bath when he arrived in Medfield and was so good about it. He came in with Oscar, and the two got along great. They love to run around together. He will be neutered and updated on his vet care after Christmas and will be ready for a new home. He is a little shy at first but seems to be warm up quickly and was happy to have a kennel with cozy blankets and some toys. Like most Beagles, he loves food.

Dogs 8 years and up are $250. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash.
With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have two employees. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.

We are a no-kill shelter, which means no pet will ever be euthanized because it has run out of time to find a home.
