My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy Mae is searching for her forever home. Could it be yours? Daisy Mae is a 6.7 Lb Maltese born April 3rd, 2021. She is as sweet as they get! Daisy Mae is a little shy at first but warms up to new people pretty quickly. She is content just laying by you on the couch while watching television. Daisy Mae makes a perfect popcorn and movie night companion. She rides well in the car but could use a little more leash training. Daisy Mae is currently Potty Pad trained and is learning to use the doggy door. She is a true gem, not to be missed out on!
The Maltese is gentle, loving, trusting and devoted to its master. It is spirited, lively and playful. This breed is highly intelligent, good at learning tricks if it feels sufficiently rewarded. It makes an excellent companion dog; graceful and lovable. The Maltese loves to play outdoors but has a penchant for jumping in puddles; a bath must follow. It does well with other pets. It enjoys a regular walk or session of frolicking in the park and it remains playful well into old age. Little effort is needed to keep this dog well exercised, because it is very active indoors. It makes a very good watchdog. This breed sheds little to no hair and is good for allergy sufferers.
Daisy Mae is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated and micro-chipped. $395 rescue adoption fee applies. If you would like an adoption application and to set up a meet and greet, E-Mail or call or text Lori at: 760-680-3713 Located in Grove, OK. More pictures and video available.

Additional adoption info

After the application approval, we set up a meet and greet with you, the animal you are wanting to adopt and any pet's you may have in order to see how everyone gets along. If all goes well we finalize the adoption. Our adoption fees vary from animal to animal.
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical -up to date on vaccinations including Rabies, flea and tick treated, started on heartworm prevention (for dogs and pups over 6 months), spayed or neutered, (for dogs and pups over 6 months) and micro-chipped. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.
*Supplies you will receive with adoption – leash and collar.

More about this rescue

MISSION STATEMENT: 4 The Love of Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue group. Our mission is to rescue strays, owner surrenders and dogs out of kill shelters and to spay and neuter as many dogs as possible. The rescue is run by caring volunteers who generously give their devotion, time, homes and hearts to save lives.
Through our Foster Care program, dogs have a comfortable, safe place to be until loving homes can be found for them. ...
We value the bond between humans and dogs and appreciate the important role that pets play in our everyday lives.
Our goal is not only to help animals, but to help people whose lives are greatly ... greatly enriched by adopting animals in need.
