My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Chiclet is a super sweet and affectionate girl. She starts purring as soon as you pet her, rolling in contentment. She loves to play with wand toys and does acrobatic flips while she plays! You can always tell when something grabs her interest, because she’ll tilt her head like a puppy.

She has taken to claiming her spot on the cat tree and likes to spend time there if things get too busy for her liking. When other kitties join her in the cat tree, though, she comes out to find out what they’re up to, and joins right in.

Her new family will get a big reward for a little patience with Chiclet to let her personality come out. She loves to play and becoming a lap cat. She likes blankets and will snuggle under one at feet. Absolute sweetheart but she hides from any loud noise or movement. As she gets to know you, she will come right back out. She really likes her foster brother, so having another cat will help her adjust.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
