My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome to the stage, Hannah!
If you’re looking for a *star*, look no further because here is your girl!

Hannah & her sister, Montana, came to TCR after being born outside & then living her early young life with a kind woman caring for the many stray & feral cats around her home.

Hannah is not only a beauty with her unique calico & tabby markings, but she is also super duper sweet! This girl LOVES pets & attention, has a cute little purr, & is a top notch muffin maker. Hannah will sit by your side, patiently waiting for her turn to be pet while quietly staring at you. Hannah likes sitting in laps, sinks, windows sills, cat trees, & practically anywhere that she deems as a comfy spot. Don’t get us wrong, Hannah is full of pep & energy! She loves to play with toys, especially the scratcher with the ball track on the outside (it is VERY entertaining)! This girlypop is a top notch super star who effortlessly poses for every photo (we had trouble deciding what pictures to use)! Hannah gets along perfectly with her sister Montana, but really enjoys any of her other foster siblings. She’d love to go home with one of them, or to a home with another active kitty. We don’t know that she’s been around dogs, but we think with proper intros, she’d adjust to them just fine. We also think Hannah would do well with kids of all ages, but she does love anything with string(!) so it would important for kids to know how to properly play with her.

Hannah is approx 7 months old, spayed, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, treated for a URI & ear mites/ear infection. If this little super star is calling out your name, apply for her today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
