Romeo is an 18 month old, 6 lb, male Chihuahua surrendered to the rescue along with his brother drake by their owner due to having too many dogs in her home. All pets adopted from Tri-County Animal Rescue Center will have received a vet wellness examination, de-wormer, and vaccinations.

If living in a rental property, we must get permission from the landlord.

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.
The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations.
