Meet Salsa - This sweet girl want nothing more than to love on people. Salsa came to Colorado with her four tiny babies and has made herself at home. She is a gorgeous, confident girl who will run to you and rub on your legs and ask for pets. She is a calico though and as such, wants you to remember who is REALLY in charge. If you want to do something to her that she doesn't want, be ready for a few hisses....but once she's made her point, she will flop for belly rubs and give in. When she arrived from Texas she was nervous the first 24 hours, but she had her four kittens to worry about and lots of new stuff. By the next day, she was eating, wanting attention, and totally settled in. She is very playful and acts very kitten like, not surprising as she is only a year old. She is a great eater of either wet or dry food and does not seem to have issues with other cats, though while in Colorado she has only seen them from a distance. It is not known if she has been around dogs in the past, but with her confident temperament, and a slow introduction, it would probably be fine. Her litter box habits are perfect and she is anxious to find her perfect home. It would be great if she could go with one of her kittens as she is very attached to them and likes to rub on them, but she would also do fine on her own.
