My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Perdita (A136720) is a 2-year-old AK Husky x Lab mix who weighed 58 pounds on intake!

11/27/24 This sweet lady is Perdita! Perdita arrived at the shelter as a stray and defaulted to the borough. She was known to be quite the wanderer and is looking for an owner who can keep her contained. Perdita appears to be housebroken and wants to do her business outside but might need some reminders as she settles into her new routine. We also encourage her next owner to bring her to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on her manners and teach her a trick or two! We do not know her history with other animals and children. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. If you are interested in meeting Perdita, please let us know!
