RUSSET hails from Bearskin Lake in Northern Canada and came down south with his 5 siblings to find his forever home. She’s had her first vaccines, microchipped and been deemed healthy by his vet. We have no knowledge on her parents so her breed is just a guess based on the look of the litter and we’ve also just made a guess on what her adult size will be. This little girl is the biggest puppy in the litter and one of the most loveable too. She’s always seeming out her humans to cuddle and ply kisses on.
RUSSET is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it at night without a peep. She will take her naps in it during the day too as she now knows it’s her safe place to be. She’s working on house training by having constant trips outside but it is still a work in progress for her. She’s just started leash walking and she really enjoys going out on them.
RUSSET is well socialized with other dogs as she has several in her foster home. She loves to run around and play chase with them especially outside in the yard and she needs a fenced one to keep her safe. Her ideal family is an active one who can keep up with her puppy energy and take her on the walks she needs for exercise. She’d also love them to take her on hikes on the trails and lots of adventures. She hasn’t met a cat but with a slow introduction and if the cat is dog savvy then they should get along. Children should be aged 6 plus due to her being a normal nippy puppy.
Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need you to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her.
Her spay is included in the adoption fee and will be performed by the time she’s 6 months of age. We need you to be in agreement with that too in order to adopt her.
If you would like to meet RUSSET then please fill out the adoption application to meet her.
