My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Bean Sprout was brought in by a community member on 12/16/24.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Bean Sprout, a rabbit like no other. This adult bunny has an independent streak that's as impressive as it is endearing. He's not one to follow the crowd, preferring to hop to his own beat. Despite his self-sufficient nature, Bean Sprout can be a bit shy. He takes his time getting to know new people and places, but once he feels comfortable, his gentle personality shines. Bean Sprout's unique blend of independence and shyness makes him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a pet with a personality all its own. His quiet nature makes him perfect for a peaceful home. Adopting Bean Sprout means giving a home to a bunny who is full of character and charm, and who will surely bring a touch of magic to your life..

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
