My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ember and Dumbo!

These two bonded ladies are the best of friends, and often can be found cuddling together as they take a nap. Ember is the more shy of the duo, and will take some time to get to know you. Dumbo on the other hand is incredibly inquisitive and loves a good head scratch.

Chinchillas have complex needs and require specialized care. These girls would do well in a home that has experience with these amazing animals.

With questions about Ember and Dumbo, or any of our other small animals available for adoption, e-mail Olivia at olivia.warburton@rispca.org.

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
