My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rita! I am about 4.5 months old and 23 lbs. We think I am a cross between Catahoula and Terrier. My dad (who is also local in the northeast) is a beautiful guy and definitely has a Catahoula look! I am a hysterical young girl and I love everything and everyone. I also get excited about basically everything in life. I must tell you my favorite human in the world is my 13 year old human boy. When he walks in the room, my world stops! Yes, I am crate trained and housebroken. I am incredibly food motivated'|I will do anything for food and I love to watch my foster mom cook. I am highly trainable and very smart. I am also eager to please. I do have a nice amount of puppy energy'| I could do great as an only because I also entertain myself with my toys and I am so focused on my people. But, I could also do well with another dog who will play and romp with me and not get annoyed . I am curious about cats. I could be just fine but the cat has to be sturdy and dog savvy because yes, I will push buttons. I need some work on the leash. I am curious about this rope I am supposed to walk on and will want to smell, pull, go through legs - pretty typical of a pup that hasn't had much experience. I LOVE to cuddle and want to be the first one to get hugs and kisses from my humans. If you are interested in adding some fun and excitement to your household, here is the application!
