My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Winston! I'm an adult Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give. My days are filled with tail wags and warm cuddles. I'm known for my sweet nature, friendly disposition, and gentle ways. I'm always up for a good game of fetch, and I've been told I'm a fast learner too. I'm the perfect companion for those quiet nights in or active days out. I promise to be your loyal friend, offering unconditional love and endless joy. Adopting me means gaining a companion who will always be there for you, through thick and thin. A home with me in it is a home filled with love and laughter. Let's make some beautiful memories together! I'm a year old, currently weigh 13lbs, neutered, current on vaccinations including rabies, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, my adoption donation is $200. If you would be interested in adopting please visit me at 4 Commercial Ave Washington Court House Ohio. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 2pm.

These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.

CAT:

Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).

DOG:

Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).

Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!
