Tiger was found in roaming a condo complex, starving, and lonely just before an extreme heat wave. He was begging to be let into the rescuer's house. She had two other cats and couldn't keep him inside. The landlord allowed him to be temporarily housed in an empty condo to keep him safe before CCforC was able to get a Foster for him. Rescued neutered and an unregistered
microchip, it is unclear how he got separated from his original family. He is not a feral, loves to be safe inside again now.
Tiger wants to be where ever you are in the house. Also very talkative throughout the day. Likes to sit near you and nap on a lap. Still learning about being held. He would prefer to approach you from the floor or furniture than to be picked up. It could take time and trust in his special person to achieve cuddling. He has a very high play drive and often gets the afternoon zoomies in Foster's home. Can play-bite if encouraged to play with hands, he does better with toys and redirection if too playful. Maybe too playful for children, adult home only.
Very confident and affectionate once he knows you.
Are you looking for a kitty that will be completely devoted to you? Tiger is your guy:) He would prefer to be someone’s only kitty, but does tolerate a small dog in his foster home. Not sure about other cats. He did come in with a few street fight scabs.
He is very food orientated and will want to please you for a special treat:) We want this sweet guy to have the special person and right home that he deserves.
