Scout is such an adorable little girl. Only 12 pounds, she is soft and fluffy, loves to go for walks and explore everything - but also enjoys being carried around! She is great with everyone - dogs, cats, and people, and she would be a truly wonderful new family member. Scoutie is a sweet happy dog who is playful, silly, and affectionate. She is active enough to taking hiking and loves to play with toys, but also enjoys snuggling on the couch. She's been sleeping peacefully through the night in a crate in foster care but would prefer to sleep all snuggled up with her people. We recently discovered that she has megaesophagus, a condition that makes it difficult for her to eat normally. For that reason, she needs to sit upright when she eats - and for 15-20 minutes afterwards. A volunteer very kindly made a special chair for her, called a Bailey Chair, and she looks so cute eating her food in an upright position! Afterwards, she can stay in the chair or be held (she happily sits with someone on the couch) or even be carried around in a baby bjorn! She looks pretty adorable in her baby carrier and loves the closeness of being carried this way. We will happily share all of this with her new family - please reach out to meet sweet Scoutie today!!
