My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cotton Candy or CiCi as her foster dad calls her is the sweetest puppy. Since arriving in New York she has thrived meeting new experiences, peoople and puppies with excitment. CiCi is always happy to see her foster dad come home from work and after a walk settles down for a cuddle on the couch. She especially loves kids and would be a perfect addition to a family looking for a four legged friend.

My foster dog is:  House trained (can be left outside the crate with confidence), very low shed and is working on her crate training. She's a great companion in the car as well!
3 Keywords for your pup: Smart, loving and cuddly.
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 5 (CiCi is always excited to see her foster dad and greet new people, but soon finds a nice spot to make herself comfortable).
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: CiCi does not bark.
Walking Manners: Obviously everything is new for CiCi and so she greets every new expereince with excitment.  We have been working on leash manners and she getting better every day. (CiCi is a super friendly dog, with puppy energy and so she will look to her family for guidance on developing her very best manners).
Appetite: CiCi enjoys she breakfast and dinner, but never begs for it. She loves a treat, but never begs for human fod.
Does the following: Since arrivng in New york City CiCi has been on the subway, walked on busy streets and encounted everything from bikes to buses and the many sirens our city has to offer. She take sit all in her stride and so far hasn't been intimidated by anything. She doesn't have seperation anxiety and can be trusted to stay in the house without crating.  But, get ready for a warm welcome when you return -- that energy soon subsides for some loverly cuddle time with this super sweet puppy.
Favorite Things: CiCi has a bunch of toys, but really people are her favotite thing.  From a kiss on the nose to a belly rub she's ready to be showered with love.
Commands/Tricks: CiCi can sit, shake and 'go to bed' which is her blanket. she is always willing to please and work to please.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
