My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Grace! I'm a sweet, senior lady who found my way to CAHS after my beloved owner lost their housing and could no longer care for me. At just 35 lbs, I'm the perfect size for cozy snuggles and brisk adventures!

I absolutely adore long walks, rain or shine, and I look especially cute in my cozy coats when it's chilly outside. I'm fully housebroken, walk wonderfully on a leash, and I know some basic commands—I'm a smart cookie!

People are my favorite, and I do well with folks of all ages. However, I’d thrive best with dog-savvy kids who understand when I need my space to feel comfortable. I've had positive experiences living with cats, but dogs in my personal space can make me uneasy, so I’d prefer to be your one-and-only canine companion.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready for adventures and quiet evenings alike, I'm your girl. Let’s meet and see if we’re the perfect match!
