SAMMY is a pure bred Yorkshire Terrier, 2 yrs old, black and tan and very small. He is UTD on vaccines/rabies and Bordetella, groomed and microchipped. He is neutered and heartworm negative. He’s on heartworm prevention and been dewormed.

This little guy is a character. He has so much sass and personality. He does really well with pee pads and absolutely LOVES other dogs. Sammy will need another dog in the home, otherwise he will make your life busy and challenging as he loves to play and be busy all the time.

He came to us as a breeder surrender along with several others. He is a tad head shy, but no aggression and as he learns to trust you, he’s better each day.

If you’re asked to pay to apply then STOP right there, you aren’t on our website. WE do NOT get those apps. He is being fostered in Linwood, NC, so you must be willing to come pick him up. If you are not ready to adopt now, please do not ask us to hold a dog.

VISIT our website https://schnauzersaversrescuers.org to get an application. Our process consist of application, personal and vet references, home visit, phone interview, meet/greet. All of our rescues are seen by a vet, spayed, neutered, updated on vaccines/rabies, heart worm test, dental if needed, wormed for parasites prior to adoption.

We strive to rescue any unwanted, abandoned, abused or neglected Miniature Schnauzer and other small breeds and provide them with love, vet care, excellent nutrition and find them their forever homes. We have dedicated our lives to this cause. We spend many hours on the road every month driving to many states to rescue these dogs and bring back to our home and care for them until they find their new family. Your donations are needed and we would really appreciate anything you can do to help us pay for the vetting, food, medicines, preventatives and fuel for the over 2000 miles a month that we drive to help these babies.
