Amaia is the teeniest, sweetest girl! She is 4 months old and a petite 17 lbs!
This beautiful little girl LOVES her people. She is great with other dogs and runs circles around the older dogs in her foster home.
She is still working on her leash training but making progress on walking like a “big girl” and not chewing on the leash. She is also making good progress on potty training.
Amaia came to us from our rescue partners in Puerto Rico and she was attending a school for children with special needs helping the students to learn appropriate care and handling. Now that she has arrived in Maine, she has been visiting with some school children as well providing some beautiful and calming energy to those that need it.
Her foster mom says, “If you are looking for a best friend who loves to play, go everywhere, meet everyone, and nap in your lap, Amaia is your gal! She's adaptable, fun-loving, and full of puppy energy. She's a lovable friend who'll stick by your side.”
Amaia’s adoption fee is $450.00
If you are interested in meeting Amaia or any of our adoptable cuties, please fill out our application here: Adoption Application
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
