My name is Appa!

Appa is six years old. He is very affectionate and loyal. He loves to go on walks and he sleeps all day when not outside. If you give him a tennis ball, he will entertain himself for hours. He is very protective of family.
He gets groomed once every 6-8 weeks, but needs a bath once a week + moisturization due to his sensitive skin. He is scared of thunderstorms and has a history of scratching up doors if left alone during a storm. He does get eye and ear infections from time to time. I have a prescribed eye ointment I use when it flares up and Zymox is the only thing that works for the ears. I do find that frequent baths help prevent the infections. He is potty trained and will only have an accident if not walked twice a day.
