My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Phoebe!

Are you looking for a precious face with a feisty personality to grow with and train to be your awesome best friend? If so, Phoebe is your girl.

This spunky, fluffy bundle of fun is full of energy and loves to play. Phoebe is very young and eager to learn, so she’ll need a patient owner to teach her all the important puppy things. From playful zoomies to snuggles, she’s ready to fill your days with joy and laughter.

Phoebe was found as a single puppy alone at the shelter, so her breed mix is a bit of a mystery. Some say she might be an Akita or Australian Kelpie mix, but whatever her heritage, one thing is certain: she’s 100% adorable.

If you're ready to welcome a loving, spirited pup into your life and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s destined to be, Phoebe is waiting to meet you. She was born in November 2024 and is being fostered in Texas.

OUT OF STATE
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:

Additional adoption info

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
