My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you EVER seen such a face? Kodiak, an 8-week-old, 15 lb Catahoula/Rottweiler/Pit mix (as per the people who surrendered the litter), is a fun-loving, active, friendly boy who's happiest exploring outside with his doggie friends, has a great personality, is working hard on potty training, and wants in on all the action. He loves humans, and although he isn’t an overly snuggly puppy, he makes up for it with his love of people and his playful spirit. He LOVES other dogs and would be thrilled to find a home with a playful canine sibling.   Kodiak will be a big boy and is looking for a family with previous training experience so he can grow into an amazing adult!   He's still mouthy, so very little kids are not a good fit. He's microchipped vaccinated, and his adoption will be finalized upon age-appropriate neuter, which is included in his $700 adoption fee. *He'll be ready to go to her forever home on 12/28.*

More about this rescue

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
