Literally the sweetest girl…
Athena has always had anxiety type behaviors (marking, pulling out her own fur, wounds caused by hyper-grooming, anxiety) We have gone to vet, she was treated her for a urinary Tract infection, didn’t help. then we tried numerous litter boxes, tried calming collars, wall plugs for cats, different food, Collars/sweaters, different litter, bought a litter robot in hopes that would help. I have exhausted myself financially and mentally trying to identify a direct cause for her hyper-grooming, bouts of marking around her as a protected area, self injuring and keeping her from causing the sores from her pulling out her own hair to get worse, but nothing has helped. I truly have tried it all. Unfortunately, I can’t help but feel it’s due to us having other cats as well and she doesn’t seem to be able to handle it. She is SO SO SO SWEET AND CUDDLY. She is never aggressive or anything close, she just mopes around all day and it’s sad!
