Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Good with dogs? Yes, Junebug is curious about other dogs of all sizes and loves to play! If they tire of her enthusiasm, she reads their cues well and adapts to the energy.
Good with cats? Not Tested. Junebug is interested in and may chase small animals.
Good with kids? Yes, she is gentle with the 7 and 4 year old kids in her foster home and listens to their commands. During playtime, she can move quickly and accidentally bump into kids, but she is a super sweet pup. She sleeps at the end of the 7 year old girl’s bed among her stuffed animals.
Energy level: Medium. She loves playing in the backyard, taking longer walks or runs, and playing tug of war with her toys. She needs outdoor playtime to avoid frisky indoor zoomies!
Medical/behavioral needs: Junebug has some itchy skin and may need allergy treatment and/or special food; she does very well with a fish based food. She really loves other dogs and is most comfortable meeting people who have their own pet dogs with them.
Animal Characteristics: Junebug is a sweet, loving, gentle, happy, loyal, curious girl who likes to walk around her home and see what her family is doing. She will cozy up in the office and provide moral support during the workday, or snuggle on the couch when you are ready to lounge! She also does great riding in cars. She is loving and protective over her family and only barks when new people come into her home, or if new people approach her on the street who make her nervous, or if she is alone, gated at home, for too long. Junebug is a wonderful girl who bonds quickly to her people, is eager to learn, and will be an amazing forever companion.
