My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is our 4-year-old Great Pyrenees. We adopted him from a shelter when he was about 3 months old, and he has been a part of our family since. My wife and I recently found out that we are pregnant, and unfortunately, Moose is not good with kids. He has never bitten any children (or anyone at all for that matter), but he gets very defensive and growls around kids when they are around. While we do not know what would happen in the future if we kept him, we do not have the space to keep him separated from our child and cannot risk him getting hurt.

He gets along well with female dogs and small/medium-sized neutered male dogs. He goes to doggy daycare when we go out of town and we have never had issues with fighting or aggression. He has never been around livestock or cats.

He is a very affectionate, loving, and loyal dog. His demeanor is a mixture of golden retriever and GP. He has been a great dog over the years and we would love to see him go to a family with no young kids.
