My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Fuzzy Pants, the sweetest ginger fur-ball!

This sweet and affectionate boy is the ultimate couch potato, happiest when cuddling with his humans and getting brushed. With his fluffy little head poking out to greet you and his adorable "grandpa meow," Fuzzy-Pants is sure to bring a smile to your face. He enjoys outdoor time, but only in the safety of a catio (cat-patio), and he loves enough space to stretch out and play.

Mr. Fuzzy Pants requires a dental cleaning that will be done while he is in our care. He will thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can recover from his dental. He's not a fan of being alone-he'll happily keep you company, especially if you're feeling down, as he loves to cuddle when you need it most. He's also a little fashionista and loves posing for pictures! While he's friendly with other cats and tolerates children well, his true joy comes from being the center of attention.

If you're looking for a gentle, chatty companion who's ready to shower you with love and affection, Mr. Fuzzy Pants is your perfect match! A true furry angel, he's ready to find his forever home. Come meet him Tuesdays through Sundays, 12pm to 3pm, or apply online today!

***Mr. Fuzzy has an upcoming dental exam, so at this time we will be prioritizing local adopters who can take him to/fro his appointment.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
